Mazatlan continues capturing more API steel cargo for export.

API connectivity to the main axis continues to be used by railway companies in the steel industry who see in the port of Mazatlan favorable conditions to integrate this port into their supply chains, the multifunctionality of Multipurpose Terminal API continues to allow the uptake and clearance of all types of cargo while providing expertise for its skilled manpower and experience gained, given the variety of goods to the port handles.

In these last 2 months, API is mobilizing an approximate volume of 43,000 tonnes between billet, straight sides, roll and wire rod.

This confirms that the vision of the API and its commitment to continue investing in infrastructure has been inadequate to maintain and attract new charges as well as business opportunities.
